Trivia

General

  • This location took more than 23 years to make a physical appearance after being mentioned in "I Was a Teenage Gary."
  • The town's sign is shown to be a ukulele, referencing the name.
  • When posting production notes for "House Hunting" to social media, Ian Vazquez mentioned setting The Patrick Star Show in Ukulele Bottom. Due to him leaving the crew and no one following his lead, this is no longer considered canon to the series.
    • According to Ian, Ukulele Bottom is often referred to as a part of Bikini Bottom (a suburban area) and shares a large county, but it is a driveaway. Vazquez compared the two locations' relationship to that of Burbank (and other small cities) and Los Angeles, California and its county.[1]

Errors

File:Ukelele Error.png
  • In "House Hunting," the word "Ukulele" on the town sign is misspelt as "Ukelele."[2]
    • Despite this, the word "Ukulele" is correctly spelt in the pan shot layouts created for the episode.
