Synopsis
The episode opens with a prison guard releasing Man Ray from prison. The warden says that he hopes he has reformed, but Man Ray hijacks a police car and drives to the site of his old lair to take back his black hole bomb and blow up the town. When he arrives, the Star house has been built on top of it. Trying to enter through two side doors takes him through all sorts of other entrances, leaving his only choice to get through the front door.
First, Man Ray disguises himself as a pizza delivery man, only for the real one to show up and get his two tough pizza assistants to pound Man Ray into a pizza. Next, Man Ray disguises himself as a traveling portrait photographer, showing Bunny some of the prison mugshots he has. Bunny lets him in to take a family portrait.
Before Man Ray can search the house, he has to wait for the family to get ready. Bunny blasts off upstairs with a jetpack, and Squidina messes with Man Ray's camera equipment. Man Ray gives her a camera so she will leave him alone. Cecil arrives, practicing his new job as a shadow boxer and wanting to spar with Man Ray, who defeats him effortlessly. Bunny brings in Patrick, but realizes she forgot to get GrandPat. When GrandPat arrives, he believes that cameras steal peoples' souls and puts a vase over his head.
Patrick runs to get his action figures, making fun of Man Ray and having his figure get beaten by a Mermaid Man figure. Man Ray gets distracted and plays with them himself. He then asks Patrick for a dark room to develop the photo in, so Patrick brings him into the basement. He realizes he still has not reached his underground lair, and tries to dig deeper with a pickaxe. Patrick gets bored with the wait and digs a hole himself, scaring Man Ray from behind and sending him into the hole.
Man Ray finally falls into his old lair. He first reunites with his old sidekick, who has now disintegrated into a skeleton, and then searches for his bomb. When Patrick comes in, he says that he knows where the bomb is: the family found it years ago and it was being used to hold up Man Ray's camera while hidden under a tablecloth. Patrick uses it as a "nut smashing table," placing a walnut on it and taking out a giant hammer. He hits the nut gently, causing the entire universe to explode and everything to get sucked into a black hole.
The next day, in a parallel universe, Man Ray is sent back to jail again. After his encounter with the Star family, he is relieved to be back in prison. The episode ends with a shot of Man Ray's final photo, depicting him scowling and holding a "The End" card as the Star family smile and make faces.
