Book

Attack of the Zombies! is a SpongeBob SquarePants Ready-to-Read book written by Alex Harvey and illustrated by Harry Moore. It was released on June 28, 2011 and is based on the season 4 episode "Once Bitten."

Synopsis

After Gary becomes enraged, he begins to bite people on their wrists, causing them to believe they are zombies. SpongeBob goes to Downtown Bikini Bottom and sees everyone as zombies. The zombies begin to chase after SpongeBob, but he hides out in the Krusty Krab, though a doctor finds out that they weren't zombies and they were just bitten by an angry snail. He then proceeds to pull out the splinter like he does in the episode. The book ends with everyone happy, except Squidward.

Cover

The cover shows SpongeBob and Patrick are running away from the zombies, including Squidward, and all of the zombies have light green eyes. The bottom shows the book's title with two arms also above the ground.

Trivia

This book was released six years after Zoo Day Disaster.
