He first appears trick-or-treating in the opening of the episode with the original Incidental 42 and later appears as one of the three trick or treaters who make fun of SpongeBob's costume of the Flying Dutchman, referring him as the "haunted mattress." He then sees SpongeBob in his Flying Dutchman costume with a rounded head and questions if that was the "haunted mattress" from earlier, but Incidental 44 tells him that he must have been demoted into the "haunted sleeping bag." He then appears as one of the many guests at the Krusty Krab Halloween party.
