Incidental 70[1] is an incidental character who first appears in the episode "Pickles." His incidental type is currently unknown.

Description

He is a short naked light tan fish with a darker tan back. He has a round fat potbelly, a reddish-brown dorsal fin, and a beak-like mouth.

He also has an alternate color palette that first appeared in The Patrick Star Show episode "The Yard Sale" where he is shown to have a more orange coloration as well as having a dark brown colored dorsal fin. He additionally has an alternate design that debuted in "Just in Time for Christmas" where he has the same colors of his alternate colors variant, but also wears a light blue T-shirt with a dark blue "70" on it

Incidental 70 made nine appearances throughout the first two seasons before being absent from the series for over 20 years. He eventually returned in The Patrick Star Show episode "The Yard Sale." He later returned to the main series in the Season 13 episode "Potato Puff." Most of his appearances are non-speaking background roles. He has had only two speaking roles in the franchise so far, and he was firstly designed to be a Krusty Krab customer.

"Pickles"

"Hey, SpongeBob's back!"

He is walking by the Krusty Krab when he looks in the window and notices SpongeBob has returned. He puts his fin up against the glass and announces that SpongeBob is back. This attracts a crowd of other fish.

"Walking Small"

He is seen angrily leaving the beach after SpongeBob finishes waving the sandy towel at the beachgoers.

"Fools in April"

He is shown to be disturbed and concerned during Squidward's cruel prank on SpongeBob. He also glares as Squidward after he claims that he was just kidding.

"Your Shoe's Untied"

He is part of the riot against Squidward and is then seen leaving the Krusty Krab.

"Bubble Buddy"

He glares at SpongeBob when he discovers that he has been waiting in the bathroom line for Bubble Buddy.

"Christmas Who?"

He is seen in the original storyboard trying to convince Squidward to come out of house and celebrate Christmas.

"Just in Time for Christmas"

He is seen walking by when Patrick discovers the monkey mermaid at the fair.

"Shrinking Stars"

He appears in GrandPat's video game, where he became a victim of getting hit by him while driving in his scooter.

"Uncredible Journey"

He appears at Tinkle's funeral, where he pops out of Old Man Walker's hat to shush GrandPat after he complains about the funeral being for a toilet.

"The Drooling Fool"

Chopping Spree

He appears among the fish rushing for the last bath bomb, before getting their head chopped off by Pat the Hapless.

  • He and Incidental 40 are featured on Leo Laifa's promotional artwork for Season 14 stating that they are becoming a storyboard artist for the show. This promotional artwork features Incidental 70 standing beside Incidental 40 who is making an order to Squidward at the Krusty Krab only for what appears to be a caricature of Leo themself taking the appearance of an octopus janitor with a French accent who resembles Squidward trying to manipulate Incidental 40's order as a request by Mr. Krabs.
  • He makes his first speaking role in "Pickles."
