Incidental 34[1], also known as the distant incidentals[2] and the crowd, are a group of incidental characters who debut in "Ripped Pants." Their incidental type is currently unknown although they are known not to be "hotdogs."
Description
Incidental 34
Each Incidental 34 has its own physical appearance. Due to being functioned as fish who are far in the distance, they do not have much design like the other incidental characters. All of their eyes are white with no visible pupils. Their regular model sheet includes eleven designs (34A through 34K), but a twelfth design (34L) does exist, although it is exclusive to Incidental 34s' formal designs only. Each of their genders also appear to be unspecified.

Crowd
Before becoming Incidental 34, the distant incidentals were known as the "crowd" which instead were distant characters who have the color palettes of other regular incidentals rather than having their own palettes (with the exception of Incidentals 84 and 85 who do have their own color palettes).
Incidental 34 are unique incidental characters who serve a completely different purpose than the other regular incidental characters. These incidentals never really make any notable/speaking roles like most of the other incidental usually do. They are mainly used for incidental characters in wide shots or the far distance who most commonly appear in crowds or lines, although they can sometimes be seen as separate generic background characters in the far distance. They can even appear as duplicates as well. Incidental 34 was originally known as the "crowd" which consisted of distant characters with the color palettes of other regular incidentals, with the exception of Incidentals 84 and 85 who had their own color palettes, although they later became Incidentals 34H and 34I when the model numbers "84" and "85" were reassigned to two differentincidentals.

These include Incidentals 34A and 34B behind the fortune teller tent in "Valentine's Day" and Incidentals 34A (34F-colored), 34B (normal and 34I-colored), 34C (normal and 34G-colored), 34E, and 34J (normal and 34A-colored) watching the Bikini Bottom Air Show in "Snail Mail."
In "Buff for Puff," Incidentals 1 and 6 can be seen having the same model poses as their crowd variants in one scene.
They, Incidental 21, and Incidental 29 are the only incidentals present on the original incidental model sheet that haven't had their own speaking role.
While they are each portrayed to have unspecified genders, their formal designs from "Le Big Switch" shows some of them wearing a dress shirt with a tie and/or a jacket like males, and fancy dresses like females.
Incidentals 84 and 85, and Incidentals 41, 42, 45, 46, 117, 160, 200, 201, 202, and 203 are the only known regular incidentals who have had their model number reassigned to a differential incidental.
