Mr. Claws is a doppelganger variant of Mr. Krabs who appears in the episode "Bizarro Bottom."
Description
He is a light blue crab with an upward-curving nose, wearing a light red shirt, light gray jeans, and a black belt with a gold buckle.
Personality
He is nice and, as a boss, cares about his employees, even giving them a day off every week on his own initiative and stepping in to work in their place, in contrast to his greedy lookalike, Mr. Krabs.
Role in episode
Mr. Claws tells SpongeTom that he has decided to send him home early from the Krunchy Krab, since he has the next day off. When SpongeTom happily mentions that this way he can feed his pet Barry earlier at night, they both laugh together. The next day, Mr. Claws heads into the kitchen to fill in for SpongeTom and start making tacos. When he sees SpongeBob, he mistakes him for SpongeTom and explains that he always covers for him on his days off. Confused, SpongeBob asks Mr. Claws why he is blue, thinking he is talking to Mr. Krabs. Mr. Claws replies that he gives out one day off every week for a reason, causing SpongeBob to storm off in distress. Mr. Claws then talks with Octward about SpongeBob's strange behavior, still assuming he is SpongeTom. He even adds that he didn't know where to look, since SpongeBob has his eyes on his chest, unlike SpongeTom.
