SpongeBob Comics #54 is a SpongeBob SquarePants comic book that was released on March 9, 2016.

Summary

A trio of thalassic-themed tales starring everyone's favorite pelagic pals from a fleet of coastal creators! In "Squirrel Scouts," Sandy introduces SpongeBob and Patrick to the world of sash-wearing, badge-earning, and cookie-selling! Then Plankton duplicates himself in "Only the Clonely." In "Daze Off," SpongeBob's vacation day is haunted by Krabby Patty hallucinations. All these plus more natatorial nuttiness from James Kochalka, Maris Wicks, and more![1]

  • In the Only the Clonely comic strip, Plankton says Mr. Krabs' full name (from SpongeBob SquarePants Trading Cards Premiere Edition card 4), which is "Eugene Harold Krabs."
  • Ironically in this comic book, there are two comics about cloning.
  • In the Cheer up! comic strip, one of Pearl's friends is seen with an iPhone.
  • The SpongeBob in Fryer Follies comic strip is a sequel to SpongeBob in Flipper Follies in SpongeBob Freestyle Funnies 2014.
  • !senolC Clones! spells the second part of the title backwards in its first usage.
