Pearl's birthday boat
Pearl's birthday boat is a boatmobile that Mr. Krabs gives to Pearl as a birthday gift in the episode "My Father the Boat."
Description
It is a red boat with a wooden plank front, round headlights, small wheels, and a pink heart displayed on the white doors. The vehicle features brown leather seats, a small propeller, and a pink pompom attached to a pole at the back. It is built from wreckage at a junkyard, although it originally costs 10,000 clams.
Role in episode
Pearl asks Mr. Krabs to buy a boatmobile for her birthday next week, proving it with a recording of her dad. Mr. Krabs doesn't want to pay 10,000 clams for a boat, so he goes to the junkyard with SpongeBob, where they fix up a wreck. However, the engine is missing, so Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob sneak inside to replace it themselves. When Pearl sees her new boat, she's thrilled and immediately jumps in, setting off. She heads to Bikini Bottom High School to pick up her friends, and they then run into The Sharks in downtown. They decide to race, but the Sharks puncture the wheels of Pearl's boat with their teeth. Mr. Krabs replaces the wheels with SpongeBob's legs, allowing them to beat the Sharks, who end up falling off a mountain. Pearl wants more excitement, so she heads to the Demolition Derby, where her boat breaks down. She takes it to be repaired, where the mechanic notices Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob hiding inside the boat, which makes Pearl angry. However, after being explain as to why they were in the boat, been given an apology and realizing to being partly at fault for wreaking it before it was finish, Pearl forgives Krabs, but still takes her dad's credit card to buy two expensive boats to make up for the loss of the fixed up one and for not buying what she really wanted.
