Pineapple Paradise is a SpongeBob SquarePants-themed flavor of Olipop sodas made to promote The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants.[1] They were intended to release on July 29, 2025,[2] but started to show up in Walmart stores around July 22.[3][4] However, it is not a Walmart exclusive release.[5] They are sold in four packs and individual, slimmer cans sold exclusively[6] on Amazon and CircleK.[7][8] There are also five different can designs that vary by pack.

With a burst of juicy pineapple’s special sweetness and a splash of mandarin, Pineapple Paradise is pure liquid JOY—just like SpongeBob SquarePants! Finally, a new kind of soda that's delicious, refreshing, and actually good for you. OLIPOP combines the classic soda flavor you know and love with prebiotics, plant fiber, and botanicals to support your microbiome and digestive health."[9]

Marketing

Hunt for All 5 Cans

The Hunt for All 5 Cans promotion started on September 4, 2025, via Olipop's website. Part of the "OLIPOP x Spongebob Loyalty Program," logged-in participants can earn points by doing activities, such as completing your profile (20 points), submitting purchase receipts (100 points) or uploading selfies with each of the cans (100 points per can).[10] Currently, points can only be redeemed for three different Olipop variety packs, but branded merchandise is planned to be added soon.

#1 Soda Drinker Challenge

The #1 Soda Drinker Challenge is a leaderboard-based contest that started on September 4, 2025, via Olipop's website. Also part of the "OLIPOP x Spongebob Loyalty Program," users can earn points to rise the leaderboard, primarily by submitting receipts. Activities from the Hunt for All 5 Cans promotion also contribute to participants’ standings. The top three users on the leaderboard will receive prizes on December 15, 2025.[10]

The prizes of the contest are as follows:

  • First Grand Prize prizes:
    • A twelve-month supply of Olipop, as two cases of a chosen flavor every month for twelve months. (ARV: $34.99)[10]
    • One "#1 Soda Drinker Hat." (ARV: $175)[10]
    • Fifty SpongeBob merch packages. (ARV: $77 per package)[10]
    • One “Hometown Movie Screening” of the film. (ARV: $4,500)[10]
  • Second Grand Prize prizes:
    • A six-month supply of Olipop, as two cases of a chosen flavor every month for six months. (ARV: $34.99)[10]
    • One SpongeBob-branded mini fridge. (ARV: $35.29)[10]
    • One “Hometown Movie Screening” of the film. (ARV: $4,500)[10]

Sweepstakes

The OLIPOP Spongebob[sic] Sweepstakes started on August 1, 2025, enterable by email from the official site.[11] Ten winners will be chosen at random on or around December 17, 2025,[12] and will be notified by email on December 19, the day of the film's premiere.

The prizes of the sweepstakes are as follows:

  • A six-month supply of Olipop, as two cases of a chosen flavor every month for six months. (ARV: $34.99)[12]
  • One SpongeBob-branded mini fridge. (ARV: $35.29)[12]
  • One SpongeBob-themed blanket. (ARV: $17.86)[12]

SpongeBob Tower Defense event

An in-game event based on the product appeared in the Roblox experience SpongeBob Tower Defense from August 8 to August 17, 2025, based on the "Hunt For All 5 Cans" promotion.[13] Players are encouraged to complete quests and unlock all five can designs, which act as food items to level up units. Also during the event, 5,000 players will receive a redeemable code for a free four-pack of the soda.[13]

Trivia

  • This is the first product to be released for The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants.
  • The main CGI assets for the cans were produced by Wonder Vision.[14]
