"A Friendly Game"

The bonsai is seen in Squidward's gallery. It is destroyed by SpongeBob's golf club while he is blindfolded.

"Bubble Troubles"

The bonsai is seen being trimmed by Squidward in his gallery. While tending to the bonsai, he notices a stray leaf hanging from its nose. Just before he cuts the leaf, he gets startled by SpongeBob and Patrick's screaming and accidentally cuts the bonsai's head off. Its head then comes to life and asks Squidward to grant its final request. He agrees, and the bonsai asks him to avenge it. But when Squidward goes to yell at SpongeBob and Patrick, they blow a really big spicy bubble that pops next to him, burning him to ashes and crippling him. Therefore, it made the bonsai's request for vengeance completely meaningless.

"The Clam Whisperer"

The bonsai makes a cameo appearance in Squidward's gallery when Squidward is reciting a poem that he has been working on.

"SquidBird"

The bonsai briefly appears in Squidward's living room. It gets knocked over by the clams while they are dancing in a conga line.

Trivia

File:Topiarycomparisontobonsai.png
Topiaries are trimmed to a certain shape, thus Squidward's "bonsai" is really a topiary.
  • Technically, it is a topiary, not a bonsai. A bonsai is a miniaturized tree, while a topiary is a bush, shrub, or tree trimmed into a certain shape – in this case, Squidward's head.
