Squidward's vacuum cleaner (House Fancy)
Squidward's vacuum cleaner appears in the episodes "House Fancy" and "Squid Defense."
Description
It is an upright vacuum cleaner that has a silver metal base, a bamboo handle, four wheels, and a green bag. This version also includes a red power adjustment switch which can switch the vacuum from low suck mode to high suck mode. It also has a capacity meter at the front of the vacuum which warns someone if the vacuum is going over capacity. This vacuum cleaner does not appear to have a cord.
It is similar to SpongeBob's vacuum cleaner from "Rock-a-Bye Bivalve" and "Picture Day" and the pressure vacuum cleaner from "Squidward in Clarinetland."
Role in series
"House Fancy"
Squidward goes upstairs to help his wound, and he tells SpongeBob to vacuum for him. SpongeBob grabs the vacuum cleaner and starts vacuuming. But he then realizes how much of a mess Squidward's house was so he decides to switch the vacuum to high suck mode. However, he has trouble moving the switch and accidentally rips it off. This causes the vacuum to malfunction and it goes out of control. It sucks up all of Squidward's furniture including the carpet.
Squidward comes downstairs and is shocked and terrified to see that the vacuum cleaner bag is enormous. SpongeBob tries to turn it off but gets himself sucked into the vacuum cleaner.
About a minute later, Patrick arrives to drop off SpongeBob's brain that he had borrowed. The vacuum cleaner sucks up the brain too, which causes the device to reach its breaking point. The vacuum starts shaking and rattling violently. It then flashes a warning saying it's at "Full Capacity." The vacuum cleaner bag then starts expanding in size uncontrollably. The bag fills up the living room, crushing Squidward, and causes his house to stretch and groan. Then it explodes destroying both it and the house.
"Squid Defense"
It is in Sandy's treedome so Squidward can clean the tree inside.
