A microsite, spongebobhappyplace.com, was developed by Walmart for the promotion.[1] "Invitations" to visit the website were available in kiosks in the section, these invitations included special codes that could be put in online for "exclusive SpongeBob content such as a virtual SpongeBob, party tips, and a behind-the-scenes video of the making of the SpongeBob Walmart commercial."
