SpongeBob Obstacle Odyssey 2: Time Trouble

SpongeBob Obstacle Odyssey 2: Time Trouble is a SpongeBob SquarePants video game that was released on April 4, 2007 in North America for the PC. The video game was developed by Snap2Play and published by Big Fish Games. This is the sequel to SpongeBob SquarePants 3D Obstacle Odyssey.

Description

Travel through time with SpongeBob to foil Plankton's latest scheme to steal the Krabby Patty secret formula! Race through the beginning of time, past the Middle Ages, and right into the future to bring the Bikini Bottom gang home. Play as SpongeBob, Patrick, Mr. Krabs, or Sandy. Remember, the future of the Krusty Krab depends on you!

General

The game was available on Big Fish Games. Although there is no longer a page for the game on their website, the game's .exe file is still hosted on their servers.
While Obstacle Odyssey was a reskin of a game called Best Friends, Obstacle Odyssey 2 is not a reskin of an existing game.

This game was also released as part of a gift set called the SpongeBob Square Box Gift Set, which also included the SpongeBob vs. The Big One DVD and a tin SpongeBob lunch box. This was the only release of this game in stores, and the only other CD release of the game was available through Shockwave.com (it is no longer available, as all of the Nickelodeon games have been removed from Shockwave.com).
Chum makes its first physical appearance in this game, which released just nine days before "Friend or Foe" premiered in the United States. This game also establishes that Patrick likes eating chum, which would later be shown in the series itself in episodes such as "Free Samples" and "Chum Bucket List."
