  • [Episode opens up with jellyfish buzzing and as Narrator talks; the scene is following a jellyfish that separated from the group, revealing SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward's houses from distance.]
  • French Narrator: Ah. It is the early morning in Bikini Bottom when the jellyfish are buzzing about making their jellyfish jelly.
  • [The scene zooms into the houses and then shows the exterior of SpongeBob's house. Suddenly a giant periscope comes out of the window.]
  • French Narrator: Oh, what is happening here?
  • [scene cuts to inside of SpongeBob's house to show him watching trough a periscope and Patrick next to him]
  • French Narrator: Collectors?
  • [SpongeBob chirps happily and nodes. Suddenly, loud, trash music starts playing and SpongeBob and Patrick are shown running with some blue background behind them. They soon get to the two hatches where SpongeBob enters into rectangular shaped hatch and Patrick enters into round shaped hatch; Patrick gets stacked in it for a while. Scene then cuts to show SpongeBob and Patrick landing next to some rope and start sliding down it. As they reach bottom, music stops abruptly, so they can reduce the pain caused by a burning hands. Soon after that, the music resumes and they start running towards cabinet with jellyfish nets inside. SpongeBob opens the cabinet, they both take a stick, and a jellyfish net, puts those two parts together, swing their jellyfish nets through the air and stand, while having serious faces, next to each other. SpongeBob then puts his jellyfishing glasses and scene cuts to show SpongeBob's front door from outer side. The front door opens, SpongeBob and Patrick exits while still having serious faces, checks the jellyfish that passed by and start singing nonchalantly while exiting the scene in the direction the jellyfish went.]
  • SpongeBob: [from the background] I think I got it. [sound of swinging jellyfish net is heard] No, wait a minute.
  • [Immediately after, electricity crackling and Patrick's yelping is heard and they both start running from the jellyfish from before]
  • SpongeBob and Patrick: [passing in the front of the scene] Go, go, go, go! [leave the scene again]
  • [the jellyfish is seen buzzing angrily and passing in the front of the scene as screen cuts to show SpongeBob and Patrick flipping towards Squidward's house]
  • SpongeBob and Patrick: Ooh! Ouch! Ooh-ooh!
  • [SpongeBob and Patrick stop flipping and end up with their face facing the ground. The jellyfish from before stings their backs]
  • Patrick: Ooh!
  • SpongeBob: Ouch!
  • [Squidward soon gets outside of his house and sees Patrick lying on the SpongeBob in front of him]
  • Squidward: Hmm.
  • SpongeBob: Hey, Squidward. [shows Squidward leaving with a bike] We're jellyfishing. [Patrick groans while squishing SpongeBob]
  • Squidward: [stops] Of course you are. Bye, now. [starts leaving with the bike again]
  • SpongeBob: Wait!
  • [Squidward stops and SpongeBob gets to him while holding a jellyfishing net in his hand]
  • SpongeBob: We made a net especially for you. Do you want to come with us?
  • Squidward: Really? Jellyfishing with you guys? Oh, that would be the best day ever in my book. I would love to go jellyfishing. I can't think of anything I'd love to do more on my day off [leans towards SpongeBob and Patrick] than go jellyfishing with my two best friends: SpongeBob and... uh...
  • Patrick: Patrick.
  • Squidward: Right. [takes a bike's wheel] But, I can't, bye-bye. [gets on the bike]
  • SpongeBob: Next time?
  • Squidward: Oh, sure. Right. Whatever. [starts riding a bike and says to himself while leaving the scene] Like that'll ever happen.
  • SpongeBob: You know, Patrick, it always seems like Squidward never has time for fun.
  • Patrick: Maybe he doesn't like us.
  • SpongeBob: No, are you kidding? We're his best friends.
  • [scene then cuts to show Squidward riding his bike down the road and laughing nastily]
  • Squidward: Jellyfishing! [laughs, snorts and starts talking sarcastically] Oh, I'll go. [laughs again] I sure had them going. [cackles]
  • [A jellyfish is buzzing and flying towards Squidward. After that, the scene starts going back and forth between the jellyfish buzzing and Squidward laughing until the jellyfish gets in Squidward's mouth.]
  • Squidward: [spits jellyfish out after a while] Stupid jellyfish, beat it! [slaps the jellyfish]
  • [the jellyfish then gets under his shirt causing him to lose control over his bike]
  • Squidward: Whoa!
  • [Squidward soon gets off the road and starts flipping down the sea hills]
  • Squidward: Whoa... wha... wha... Ow! Ooh! Whoa! Ah! Ooh! Ah! Ooh!
  • [he then falls out of the scene and soon after that a huge explosion occurs]
  • Squidward: Ow.
  • [The scene cuts to the exterior of SpongeBob's house. The scene then shows SpongeBob sitting in his armchair. He suddenly leaves his armchair and looks through his window. He sees that no one is there, sits back in his armchair, notices a picture of him and Squidward on a table next to him, takes it and looks at it for a while (the picture has "friends" written below it). He returns the picture to the table and a little while later; he goes looking through the window again where he sees Squidward driving a motor wheelchair down the road. Squidward is wrapped in bandages.]
  • SpongeBob: [at the window] Squid's back. [turns around and calls Patrick]
  • [phone rings as scene splits by a diagonal in order to show SpongeBob's and Patrick's phone conversation]
  • Patrick: [picks up the phone] Hello.
  • SpongeBob: Hey, Patrick, Squid's home, and we're going to make sure he's greeted by his two best friends.
  • Patrick: Oh, great, who are they?
  • [The scene then shows SpongeBob and Patrick are in SpongeBob's house.]
  • SpongeBob: Us. [He and Patrick hang up] Let's go.
  • [The scene then shows that Squidward has almost reached his house, still driving a wheelchair. His wheelchair motor is whirring very loudly. As soon as he enters his house, noisemakers blare and light comes on to show SpongeBob and Patrick welcoming Squidward.]
  • SpongeBob: Welcome home, Squidward!
  • Patrick: Merry Christmas!
  • SpongeBob: We're going to make this your best day ever!
  • [Squidward then starts heading back, but SpongeBob somehow meets him outside and takes him back to his house]
  • SpongeBob: Well, your best day's sure not going to be out there.
  • [scene cuts to show Patrick cooling the soup for Squidward]
  • Patrick: How about some soup on your best day ever?
  • [SpongeBob then enters the scene while pushing Squidward's wheelchair and leaves the scene as soon as he leaves Squidward by the table. Squidward sees that soup has letters forming a phrase "best day ever" in it]
  • Patrick: [takes a spoon] Here we go. [tries to feed Squidward who mumbles in protest] Oh, it's a little hot.
  • [Patrick tries to cool the soup down by blowing so hard that soup gets on Squidward who is out of the scene, groaning in pain]
  • Patrick: [notices that there is no soup in the spoon] Huh!
  • [Patrick then starts getting a soup all over Squidward's face and he groans in pain every time Patrick does that. The scene then shows Patrick inhaling deeply, but don't making another blow thanks to SpongeBob stopping him]
  • SpongeBob: I-I-I don't think soup is the best thing for him on his best day ever. [gets to the place where Squidward holds his clarinet and points into it] How about some music on your best day ever? [shows him getting next to Squidward with Squidward's clarinet in his hand] Played on your very own clarinet? [takes a deep breath and blows into the Squidward's clarinet, producing reedy, squeaky blare] Sorry, my lips are a little dry.
  • [SpongeBob smacks his lips together, clears a throat and starts licking his lips wetly and noisily for a while. Soon after that, he blows a raspberry]
  • SpongeBob: [inspecting his lips] Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.
  • [SpongeBob then takes a deep breath, but Patrick takes the clarinet out of his hand right before he manages to plays it again]
  • Patrick: Music isn't best, either.
  • SpongeBob: But what is best is what we saved for last: the one sure-fire thing to make your best day ever the best day ever.
  • [The scene cuts to a jellyfish flying in the front of the scene and SpongeBob and Patrick shouting "jellyfishing" in the background. The scene then pans to show that SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward are at the Jellyfish Fields. SpongeBob, while wearing his jellyfish glasses, is pushing the Squidward's wheelchair until it stops and then gets with Patrick in front of the Squidward]
  • SpongeBob: This is jellyfish fields. Where wild jellyfish roam just waiting to be captured.
  • [Squidward starts leaving the scene and SpongeBob starts running towards him after he notices that Squidward has left]
  • SpongeBob: [taking him back] No, no, Squid, over here. [gets Squidward next to Patrick] I know you're eager, but you don't even have your net. Patrick, [starts leaving] fix him up while I find him a good specimen.
  • Patrick: [presents a jellyfishing net to Squidward] Firmly grasp it in your hand.
  • [Patrick puts it above Squidward's bangage-wrapped tentacle and it falls on the ground, since Squidward cannot grasp it.]
  • Patrick: [picks it up and starts holding it above the Squidward's tentacle while talking] Firmly grasp it.
  • [the jellyfishing net falls again]
  • Patrick: [picks it up once again] Firmly grasp it! [sticks the jellyfish net in Squidward's tentacle]
  • [Squidward howls in the background]
  • Patrick: That ought to do it.
  • [The scene then shows that all three are together again and that some jellyfish is buzzing pretty close to them]
  • SpongeBob: [points at the jellyfish] There's one in position. [Scene shows all three of them again] Ready... Set...
  • SpongeBob and Patrick: [starts encouraging Squidward while hopping] Go! Go, Squid! You got it! You got it.
  • [SpongeBob stops when noticing that Squidward is not going anywhere, but Patrick continues to encourage Squidward]
  • Patrick: Go, Squid! Go, Squidder!
  • [Patrick then stops and the scene shows that the jellyfish is still there. Soon they both start encouraging Squidward once again]
  • SpongeBob and Patrick: Go, go, go! Yes, you got it! Get it, Squidder!
  • [Squidward is still not going anywhere and they both stop practically in the same time]
  • Patrick: I think we better show him how it's done.
  • [They both lift their jellyfish nets in the air and SpongeBob starts singing to the tunes of "On the Beautiful Blue Danube"]
  • SpongeBob: ♪Da-da-da-da-dum.♪
  • [SpongeBob and Patrick jumps forward two times]
  • SpongeBob: ♪Da-da-da-da-dum...♪
  • [SpongeBob and Patrick jumps forward two times again, resulting them leaving the scene. Scene cuts to show SpongeBob exiting from behind the rock while singing again]
  • SpongeBob: [in deeper voice] ♪Da-da-da-da-dum...♪
  • [Patrick tries to catch the jellyfish, but it runs away and he falls on the ground. He immediately stands up and starts singing]
  • Patrick: ♪Da-da-da-da-dum.♪
  • [They both try to catch the jellyfish now and fail to do it. The scene then shows the jellyfish buzzing while SpongeBob is singing in the background]
  • SpongeBob: ♪Da-da-da-da-dum.♪
  • [The scene now shows them holding their hands and circulating in the direction jellyfish goes. The scene shows only them singing.]
  • SpongeBob and Patrick: ♪Da-da-da-da-dum...♪
  • [they soon trips while trying to catch a jellyfish and starts flipping and crashing around the jellyfish fields. SpongeBob still manages to sing during the whole thing.]
  • SpongeBob: ♪Da-da-da. Da-da-da-da-da-da-dum-da-dum-dum.♪
  • [The scene then shows Squidward watching the whole thing in disbelief. The scene soon cuts to show SpongeBob and Patrick fighting and producing a smoke. Jellyfish is stinging them for a while, then goes to Squidward, and stings him into his nose. He snarls and starts catching the jellyfish. The scene cuts to some jellyfish stinging SpongeBob and Patrick.]
  • SpongeBob: [notices that Squidward has finally moved] Hey, look, Squid's doing it.
  • [The scene then shows that Squidward is driving his wheelchair away while following the jellyfish.]
  • SpongeBob and Patrick: [encouraging Squidward] Go, Squid, get 'em, Squid! Squidster, you're doing it!
  • Patrick: [continues after SpongeBob stops] Go Squid!
  • [scene then cuts to show Squidward trying to catch up with the jellyfish, but wheelchair soon gets abruptly stopped by a rock, causing him to get out of the scene. He soon returns to the scene and the scene then shows the jellyfish landing on some big jellyfish. Squidward catches her soon after that.]
  • Squidward: [muffled] Aha!
  • [Squidward starts doing a muffled cackling and then starts torturing the jellyfish by swinging it around. He stops after noticing that he has woken up the big jellyfish. The jellyfish escapes and the big jellyfish soon covers him. The scene pans to show SpongeBob and Patrick watching the whole thing and commenting]
  • Patrick: This guy's good.
  • SpongeBob: He's a natural.
  • [The scene shows Squidward starting to run away from the jellyfish while SpongeBob and Patrick are encouraging him.]
  • SpongeBob: You got it! Yeah, you got it! Go, Squid, go!
  • Patrick: Go, Squid, go! Keep doing it, Squid. See what you've been missing?
  • [Squidward, followed by a giant jellyfish, enters the scene from the left, passes by SpongeBob and Patrick, and exits the scene to the right.]
  • SpongeBob: Yeah, you got it, Squid. Go, Squid, go!
  • Patrick: Use that net.
  • SpongeBob: Be the net.
  • [whole passing thing repeats, but from right to left]
  • Patrick: Yeah, you're feeling it, Squid. All the way, take him all the way.
  • [whole passing thing repeats, but from left to right]
  • Patrick: Go, go, go.
  • SpongeBob: You got 'em now.
  • Patrick: It's in the bag!
  • SpongeBob: This is really your best day ever, isn't it?
  • [a blue lighting covers SpongeBob and Patrick while loud electricity crackling is heard in the background]
  • SpongeBob and Patrick: Ooh.
  • [The scene cuts to SpongeBob and Patrick covered in adhesive bandages and walking towards each other while groaning and wincing. They stop next to each other and start talking.]
  • SpongeBob: Hey, Patrick. Well... [hesitantly] I thought yesterday went pretty well, don't you think?
  • Patrick: I had fun.
  • SpongeBob: Me, too.
  • Patrick: Here comes Squidward.
  • SpongeBob: Oh, great. [cackles]
  • [The scene shows Squidward going down the street while lying in the motorized hospital bed, all wrapped in bandages.]
  • SpongeBob: Hey, Squid, how about that...
  • [Squidward enters the scene, passes next to SpongeBob and Patrick, ignores them and exits the scene while going towards his house]
  • SpongeBob: [finishes the sentence] ...best day ever.
  • Patrick: There's always tomorrow.
  • [Squidward gets to the front door, but bounces off them, instead of opening them. SpongeBob and Patrick approach him.]
  • SpongeBob: Uh, we're really sorry about what happened yesterday, Squidward.
  • [Squidward bounces off his front door again]
  • SpongeBob: [takes out a jar with the jellyfish from yesterday] We got you a present. [hands him the jar and Squidward takes it] It's the jellyfish.
  • Patrick: You know, from yesterday.
  • SpongeBob: You're not still mad, are you?
  • [Squidward opens a jar in front of him and lets the jellyfish go]
  • Patrick: Yep, he's still mad.
  • [They run out of the scene and the scene then shows them running down the street while the jellyfish is stinging them. The scene cuts to Squidward laughing until he notices that the huge jellyfish has covered him. The scene zooms out to show him being stung by it and then zooms to show that that bandages Squidward has are all disappearing]
  • Squidward: Ow.
  • [episode ends]
