How I got introduced to SpongeBob
I don't remember how exactly I got introduced to the series (I was really young at the time lol), but I think I started watching circa 2010-2011 because I do remember watching some of the last Season 8 episodes and the Season 9A episodes when they came out. I also do remember watching The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie a lot when I was younger, Also remember The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water in theaters when it came out back in 2015. Anyways, this show was a childhood classic of mine, and would remember watching hours of this show when I turned on the Nickelodeon channel. Sometimes I'd turn on the channel for this show (tho I'd sometimes watched The Loud House, as I liked this show when it came out, tho I stopped liking it since at least 2019). I'd also watch the 2 movies I mentioned a lot when I was young as well, and would often play on SpongeBob games on the Nickelodeon website (Imma be honest I never owned a SpongeBob videogame in my life). Around 2017 is where I'd watch a lot of cartoon reviewers who talked about SpongeBob and other cartoons and also TV networks like Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon, and that's when I found out that episodes like A Pal for Gary and One Coarse Meal where disliked by the fans (I mean I never really liked them when I was younger lol), and that people don't like the Seasons 6-9A era. I'd also watched some SpongeBob YTPs and memes as well during childhood and that was great, and I have vivid memories of watching SpongeBob's Big Birthday Blowout back in 2019 when it first came out (then again I'd watch almost every episode that came out at the time lol). That changed sometime in mid 2019 where I pretty much stopped watching cable because the new cable my parents got didn't have the kids channels on them so I kind of stopped watching then (I'd still watch the occasional SpongeBob video and look at the occasional SpongeBob-related post here and there tho). I have almost always get the memes/quotes from this show like "Is mayonnaise an instrument"? Then I got the motivation to watch the series again in late 2021-early 2022 because my friends were talking about it, and it sort of resparked my interest again, I have also started to watch SpongeBob-related videos more often again because of that respark and I'm trying to rewatch this series again so yeah.
