Wally, also known as Wally C.[1] is a character who appears in the episodes "Wallhalla," "Stuck in an Elevator," and "Pinned."
Description
He is a crazed green fish with a big gray beard who lives within the drywall of SpongeBob's house. He has castaway clothes, blue eyes, a dark green mouth, and green fins.
In the past, he wore a yellow construction worker's hard-hat, with a yellow long sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and lacks a beard.
Role in series
"Wallhalla"
He meets SpongeBob in the walls of his pineapple. He tells SpongeBob that he used to be a handyman, but when two other workers wallpapered the house, they trapped him inside. Wally shows SpongeBob around the place of Wallhalla, which lies behind the drywall. During the tour, he describes an annoying "monster" with a terrible laugh. SpongeBob, not knowing he just described him, gets scared, and they agree to eat.
While eating, Wally finds out the monster is actually SpongeBob and starts chasing him. The chase ends up with him falling out of a hole in the dry wall and crying. Upon smelling a Krabby Patty, Wally realizes he misses that aspect of the outside world. The episode ends with Wally messing around in the Krusty Krab and messing with Squidward.
"Stuck in an Elevator"
When Squidward calls the emergency phone in the elevator, Wally repeats everything he says. Later, he digs his way out of his elevator after 22 years and encounters SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward. Frightened by their insanity, Wally goes back to his own elevator.
"Pinned"
He briefly appears inside the floors of SpongeBob's house.
Trivia
- He resembles Sandy's castaway disguise from "To Save a Squirrel," except more clothed and with head hair.
