"SpongeTango" was composed by Nicolas Carr and Steve Marston. The piece features an accordion being played. It is associated with the Krusty Krab and Mr. Krabs.

Trivia
- Between "The Googly Artiste" and "Senior Discount," this track took almost 8 years to return.
- The former is the only season 8 episode to play this track.
- "Hide and Then What Happens?" is the only episode to use this track in a scene not featuring Mr. Krabs or the Krusty Krab.
- In season 7, this track is low-pitched in all episodes. The only time it plays in its regular pitch is when it is heard the second time in "Greasy Buffoons."
