"Rip Tide" is a Hawaiian track composed by Nicolas Carr, Sage Guyton, and Jeremy Wakefield. The instruments being played in the piece are a steel guitar, a ukulele, and a bass. It shares almost the same melody as "Ripped Hide," but slower.

    • If not for the split between seasons 14 and 15, this track would have played in every season since its introduction.
  • This soundtrack bookends "Sentimental Sponge"
  • "Plankton Gets the Boot," "Sandy's Nutty Nieces" and "Swimming Fools" are the only episodes to play the full track, though the track is sped up in all usages.
  • Between "Plankton's Good Eye" and "Whirly Brains," this track took five years to return as title card music.
  • This is the first track to play in season 10.
  • This track is sped up in most of its usages, due to its slow pace.
  • Most of the season 13 usages have the beginning of the track in +2 pitch and then cut to the ending in -2 pitch.
