B.O.O.T.S.

(Bureau of Official Texas Science) Marine Technology Lab, commonly known as just B.O.O.T.S., is a facility in Galveston, Texas that is dedicated to experimentation in the field of marine technology. It is united with the Gushing Falls Water Park and once attempted to develop a toy brand called Sea Pals, but the project was ultimately unsuccessful. Template:Data:Links used to work here with her two co-workers, Kyle and Phoebe. The boss, Sue Nahmee, used Sandy to spy on the residents of Bikini Bottom to eventually capture them and sell them as toys.

Description

Exterior

The building is a large, windowed dome made of glass, with a pair of large white boots on either side at the front. Above the entrance, is written in white text, "B.O.O.T.S."

Interior

The interior is bright, with white walls and floors. In the center, there is a giant glass sphere containing Bikini Bottom. There is a pool for Sue Nahmee's huge fish, and machines needed for creating the toy Sea Pals.

Role in movie

Bikini Bottom, along with its residents, is scooped up by a massive claw, which is revealed to be owned by B.O.O.T.S. after Sandy spots it through her binoculars. She contacts her former B.O.O.T.S. colleagues, Kyle and Phoebe, through the computer. She connects to the B.O.O.T.S. website, where an advertisement reveals that B.O.O.T.S. is now united with the Gushing Waters Water Park, and its leader, Sue Nahmee, develops a toy called Sea Pals. After the call is cut off, Sandy and Template:Data:Links decide to go to B.O.O.T.S. in Texas to retrieve the residents of Bikini Bottom from Sue. Gliding off a plane, they almost reach the B.O.O.T.S. laboratory but are blown away by a tornado.

In the B.O.O.T.S. laboratory, Bikini Bottom is enclosed in a massive sphere, and everyone is gathered at the Krusty Krab. The top of the sphere opens, and feed falls down, which Fred tastes. He praises it as delicious and free, prompting everyone to rush out of the Krusty Krab and gorge themselves. Phoebe catches Template:Data:Links and puts him into the gene machine. Kyle fishes out two more, Template:Data:Links and Template:Data:Links and they also go into the machine. Kyle and Phoebe activate the machine, allowing Patrick, Mr. Krabs, and Squidward to breathe on land. Sue calls in toy testers, two children who play roughly with them, throwing them and causing them pain.

Sandy and SpongeBob reach the water park, and continuing through the sewage pipe, they arrive at B.O.O.T.S. Phoebe finds SpongeBob, and Kyle hands him over to Sue. SpongeBob is put into a cloning machine where he transforms into smaller versions of him. Sue's dog, Cuda, knocks over the machine, releasing the clones. Kyle and Phoebe helps Sandy break free from the cage and defeat Sue. After observing that the tiny SpongeBobs combine upon touch, everyone pushes them together. As the clones combine, the real SpongeBob emerges. With the help of Sandy's family, every sea creature escapes from the B.O.O.T.S. laboratory.
