Trivia

  • Calamardo (Squidward's Spanish name) is based off from "calamari," a type of squid.
    • The Spanish word for "Squid" is "Calamar." That's what Squidward's name is based on.
  • Whenever there is text on the screen, a voice-over reads it in Spanish. This is because the text is always in English, due to the fact that the show is originally made in the United States, and the producers didn't want to bother re-animating the scenes with the text to make it in Spanish.
