- The title and plot of this episode are very similar to "Driven to Tears" from the fourth season of SpongeBob SquarePants.
- When Patrick says "After almost 11 minutes of hard work and practice," he is breaking the fourth wall by referencing the length of the episode.
- This is the first episode of The Patrick Star Show to use the 2024 Nickelodeon Productions logo at the end of the credits to represent the splat rebrand, along with its sister episode.
