Trivia

  • This season contains the second half of the series' second production season.
  • This is the first season of the series (and the franchise) to consist entirely of holdover episodes from a previous production season.
  • This is the shortest-running season of the franchise, with it taking only 4 months and 25 days to complete its broadcast on television.
    • This is also the first season of the franchise to air all its episodes during one calendar year.
    • However, neither of these would have been the case if this season remained part of season 2 instead of being split off.
  • Cecil appears in more episodes of this season than Squidina, the secondary protagonist of the show. This is because while Squidina is absent for two episodes of season 3, Cecil is only absent in one.
    • This makes season 3 the first season of The Patrick Star Show where a character other than Patrick appears more than Squidina.
  • This is the first season in the franchise in which every single episode segment has a unique airdate.
  • This is the first season in the franchise to not be publicly revealed by Nickelodeon, as its first few episodes were revealed by a TV guide.
  • On Ziggo, a Dutch TV provider, episodes of this season are listed as being part of season 2.
