Paramount Game Studios
Paramount Game Studios, is a subsidiary of Paramount Global in charge of publishing and licensing video games related to Paramount franchises. They notably developed and published games on Roblox under Paramount_Dev. It was formed after the merger of Paramount Digital Entertainment and Nickelodeon Games Group, as well as a result of ViacomCBS rebranding into Paramount Global.
Description
Paramount Game Studios develops Paramount/Nickelodeon-related games like Nickverse, TMNT Battle Tycoon, and SpongeBob Simulator (the latter two were both made by Gamefam Studios).[1]. They also published the SpongeBob SquarePants x Fortnite collaboration.

History
- This group was founded on February 22, 2022 with a few Nickelodeon games.
- In 2022, Roblox removed many unofficial Nickelodeon games, including unofficial SpongeBob games on the platform via DMCA takedowns. One example of the removed games by this company is "SpongeBob SquarePants: The Spongy Construction Project" but it later came back and was taken down again on June 29, 2023 due to copyright claims by Paramount Global and one year after the game's original takedown.[2]
- This group developed Nickverse, a Nickelodeon crossover multiplayer experience in 2022.
- In 2023, Paramount Game Studios partnered with Gamefam Studios to work on new Roblox experiences for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and SpongeBob SquarePants.[3]
