Synopsis
In the shed, the Dinghy and Pontoon cabins are watching Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy on TV. Squidward comes in to watch golf, insulting their cartoons and making them angry. He tries to claim playing golf can be just as exciting as being a superhero, but the other kids get bored after a few seconds of watching golf. They come up with ways to make it more fun and run out to build a course.
Mr. Krabs is out digging a hole for the outhouse when he notices the course being under construction. Squidward insults the course and Krabs says they need someone to show them what golf is about. With both Squidward and Krabs having golf experience, they argue over who is better and have a golf-off. They make a wager that if Krabs loses, he has to look over the Dinghy cabin for a weak, and if Squidward loses, he has to dig the outhouse hole. SpongeBob and Patrick work as Krabs' and Squidward's caddies.
The first hole has traditional mini golf obstacles. Both Krabs and Squidward get a hole in one. The second hole takes place at the Frigate cabin, where the golfers must avoid the cabin members as they do exercises. Squidward gets stuck under Tall Tail doing squats and Larry's jumping rope creates wind that almost blows Krabs away. Still, Krabs is able to hit his ball into the hole.
Hole 3 is set at a castle set made by the Pontoon cabin. Bubble Bass acts as a wizard and tries not to let them pass, but they enter anyways. Inside, they are faced with Bubble Bass in a cardboard dragon costume. While golfing, both Krabs and Squidward get burned by the dragon's fire.
Hole 18 takes place at the Trawler cabin. Krabs and Squidward putt and their balls go in different directions. Squidward's gets stuck in Jimmy Blobfish's eye, while Krabs runs into Roxy. He hits the ball into Kidferatu, who is awakened and chases them in anger. Squidward cannot free his ball and Kidferatu chases him, SpongeBob, Patrick, and Krabs into the hallways. They fall into a trapdoor and are warped through a portal back by the lake.
Preda Tory tells Squidward and Krabs that for their final shot, they must bounce their balls off her web and into the mouth of the sleeping kraken. They anger the kraken, who tells a joke before smashing them. SpongeBob laughs at the joke, and the kraken tells him another one. He drops his scorecard, revealing he was just doodling on it instead of properly keeping score, leaving the game with no clear winner.
Rather than dealing with the Dinghy cabin, both Squidward and Krabs agree to go and dig the outhouse hole to get some peace and quiet. Patrick golfs a water balloon at Krabs, who gets hit by it and falls over.

Trivia
General
- Two clips from "The Bad Guy Club for Villains" are used at the start of the episode. Thus, Ernest Borgnine is listed in the episode's credits and is credited as reprising his role as Mermaid Man, despite the fact that he passed away years before Kamp Koral entered production.
- Mr. Krabs also plays golf in the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Selling Out," only in that episode, he remembers that he hates golf.
- This is the only episode where Nobby appears without Narlene.
- The premiere of this episode on Nicktoons received 0.06 million viewers.[10]
Cultural references
- When Kidferatu chases after SpongeBob, Mr. Krabs, Squidward, and Patrick while going through multiple doors in a hallway, they make a reference to the motif used in the Scooby-Doo chase sequences.
Errors
- In the scene where Mr. Krabs gets an iron as his club, it burns him twice, despite it not being on.
- After Mr. Krabs hits his ball in the castle, it turns white instead of red for the next shot.
