"Surf'N Sponge" was composed by Nicolas Carr and Barry Anthony. There are three mixes.
"Surf'N Sponge New Fast Mix" is the full mix featuring vocals, drums, a bass guitar, a backing electric guitar, supporting acoustic guitar, and an organ as the lead instrument. "Surf'N Sponge No Voc Mix" is the slower instrumental to the full mix. "Surf N Sponge Featuring Mongo Bongo" is a shortened edit of the instrumental with added bongos.
"Surf'N Sponge New Fast Mix" is also included in "Music in the Brain."
