The Void is a dimension that appears in the episodes "Ghoul Fools" and "SpongeBob in RandomLand."

Description

It is a black void with nothing in it, aside from objects used to haunt whoever goes in the dimension. It appears to be infinite and shapeless. It can be entered by going into Lord Poltergeist's body.

Role in series

"Ghoul Fools"

Patrick, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs are sucked into The Void. In the void, Mr. Krabs has a sack of money, but has to go to the bathroom. Luckily, a portable bathroom is nearby, but it requires inserting a doubloon, causing Mr. Krabs to scream since he doesn't want to spend his doubloons. Patrick meanwhile has a donut on his head, but he can't eat it. However, the donut ends up being tortured by Patrick repeatedly asking for different toppings for the donut, eventually leading to him going back to the plain donut and the donut screaming in terror.

Finally, Squidward has to deal with a big, green SpongeBob figure who laughs and scares Squidward. Later, the three get sucked out of The Void, but end up in the dimension again when the Flying Dutchman blows up Lord Poltergeist's ship. While in The Void at the end of the episode, it is a regular day at the Krusty Krab, but the customers are skeletons and the money is bones.

"SpongeBob in RandomLand"

SpongeBob and Squidward chase after Rodger, and at one point end up in The Void. Afterwards, they end up back at the Krusty Krab.
