- ↑ 17.0 17.1 17.2 This is the earliest known airing of episodes 14-16, as they were licensed to air by Nickelodeon UK in July 2000, however due to a lack of SBSP airings during the summer, the earliest they could've aired would be in September 2000, however assuming that Nickelodeon UK airs episodes rotationally, so they air episodes in order and then return to the beginning, then these airdates would be correct, as there would be no gaps in terms of episode airings on weekdays and weekends (which operated on different rotational schedules in autumn 2000).

- ↑ 21.0 21.1 21.2 There is no episode listing on this date, however since there is a confirmed schedule for February 4, 2001 with a new episode, we can assume that new episodes aired on weekends around this date, however we do not know when this block of new episodes started or ended, and which new episode aired on what date.
- ↑ Nickelodeon UK - February 4, 2001
- ↑ Cable Guide (UK) February 2001 - pg. 62
- ↑ We do have a new episode listing on this date, however we are unsure whether it is indeed "Texas" and "Walking Small" or whether it could be a different episode. It could be a Season 2 episode, however it is unlikely as the episodes for Season 2 had just been licensed in January 2001 and there is no record of any new episodes airing between October 2000 and February 2001, hence this episode must be one of episodes 17-20.

- ↑ This episode is an interesting one, the day that it aired on, SpongeBob was not listed, but a "marathon of Nicktoons" between 3:30pm and 7:00pm, which takes up the usual weekday spot of SpongeBob which is usually at 3:30pm, and also a board inside the Nickdisk forums claimed that in January 2002, the premiere of Season 2 came from a "marathon" which is interesting as Nick UK doesn't do marathons all that often.
- ↑ Cable Guide (UK) April 2001 - pg. 202
- ↑ Nickelodeon UK - April 28, 2001
- ↑ 31.0 31.1 There are confirmed schedules for these episodes on those dates, which is much better evidence than most of the pre-movie episodes, however we cannot be 100% sure whether these are the first airings of these episodes as it could be that the February 2001 premieres may have carried on slightly into Season 2 and aired these episodes slightly earlier.

- ↑ 35.0 35.1 35.2 35.3 This is better documented than the "marathon" on April 27, as we do have confirmed SpongeBob episodes on these dates, however since there were many weekday slots of SpongeBob SquarePants during spring 2001, we do not know whether these episodes aired on the date provided or a slightly later date with 4 premieres on another Monday-Thursday 3:30pm airing slot. All we know is that these episodes definitely premiered before July 15, 2001.

- ↑ This airing is pretty much confirmed, as we don't see any other episodes air alongside it, so this is a one-off special which aired 7 days before Christmas. Since the schedule does say a new episode has aired, we can be certain that it was "Christmas Who?."

- ↑ 44.0 44.1 44.2 44.3 44.4 We know that there was a premiere week between October 1, 2001 and October 5, 2001, yet we are unsure about the new episodes that arose to this premiere event, since we can confirm that everything up to episode 27 aired before July 2001, then the next new episodes that are scheduled to air are episodes 29-34.

- ↑ This is probably the biggest airing mystery that has ever plagued this wiki. First of all, to get the context, I suggest you read this blog by SpongeBot678. My opinion on this is that there are multiple conflicting sources as to when the episode was first leaked, alongside when the episode was first broadcast properly. First, the wiki had claimed for years that the episode aired on July 30, 2003, however with no sources available to back it up. Then, a couple of years later, it was quite definitively changed to October 31, 2008, due to activity on its page on the English SpongePedia claiming it aired on that date, however that would've been absurd as we do have confirmation that "Atlantis SquarePantis" aired on that date. Furthermore, the first documented airing of the episode was on March 19, 2009, however that was when it first appeared on the schedule, and it could've easily aired much earlier due to the lack of schedule archiving in the UK. Furthermore, the original airing sources claiming that it aired after the Brothers Garcia movie also claimed that this is not the first time that a mysterious "Shanghaied" accidental airing happened after certain Nickelodeon movies. Also, a Nickelodeon event in 2004 called the SpongeBob-a-Thon claimed that it would air all 60 episodes, however there is speculation that they instead aired DVD specials instead of episode 33 due to the Nickelodeon producers being angry that they advertised all 60 episodes to air, instead of the 59 that they were only permitted to air. This discrepancy has so far bugged this wiki for many years, and I don't think it would be solved any time soon.

- ↑ It is very interesting as the sources claim that there is no premiere week so the episode must have aired standalone with no other episodes around it. Of course this is a bit odd for Nickelodeon UK at the time, however "Band Geeks" is a reasonably popular episode and it would make sense to end the October premieres with this episode and then go on to the Watch Your Own Week during the Halloween half term, to which we know that only reruns of SpongeBob aired.
- ↑ Cable Guide (UK) October 2001 - pg. 166
- ↑ 57.0 57.1 57.2 I believe that since we do have 2 schedules right next to each other for October 30, 2001 and October 31, 2001, we can assume we have enough evidence for the premiere week and for the rotation since we know that the show went back to episode 1 on November 5, 2001, however we are still unsure of the exact episodes that aired during this premiere week.

- ↑ Nickelodeon UK - October 30, 2001
- ↑ 60.0 60.1 I would pretty much say the exact thing about the evidence for the premiere week, but through these episodes we actually have schedules confirming that they are new episodes, however we are still unsure about which order these episodes could've aired in.

- ↑ This episode has been pretty much confirmed by the source to have aired on Nicktoons on that date, and we know the time that it aired as well (9:00am), and yes, apart from the specials, Season 3 did air on Nicktoons and not Nickelodeon.
- ↑ 67.00 67.01 67.02 67.03 67.04 67.05 67.06 67.07 67.08 67.09 67.10 According to the same source, it says that the episodes continued throughout the rest of Season 3, as also backed up by the licensing dates which confirm that Season 3 was given the green light to air in October 2002, however it does say "daily" so we are unsure if the episodes carried on into the weekends or not.
- ↑ Nickelodeon UK - October 15, 2002
- ↑ We have a confirmed airing of that specific episode on that specific date, however my reasoning with the official airing still stands and that the unannounced airing potentially could've been before that specific date due to a lack of archiving Nickelodeon UK schedules.
- ↑ 70.0 70.1 70.2 70.3 Like I said for the weekday premieres, these ones are a bit harder to tell as the wording is quite unclear on whether the episodes just aired from Monday to Friday or Monday to Sunday as SpongeBob aired at the exact same time on both Nicktoons (9:00am) and Nickelodeon (9:30pm) on all days of the week.
- ↑ 71.0 71.1 Nick UK: This weekend on Nicktoons TV - Spongebob-A-Thon & more!
- ↑ 72.0 72.1 We have evidence through many promos and schedules that these 2 specials aired on this date, as it was heavily promoted on Nickelodeon and heavily documented on forum boards at the time.
- ↑ BARB - Nickelodeon - Millions Viewing (Including Timeshift) - w/e 23/05/2004
- ↑ BARB says that a new special aired during a specific timeslot of 9:00am on May 23, 2004, however given the episodes at the time, it could've potentially been a ghost airing of "Shanghaied" again, however that is extremely unlikely. The special also featured incredibly frequently during the half-term schedule in June 2004, and that only happens for newer episodes so that might have meant that the episode aired quite recently. However, the episode could've aired slightly earlier, as there was an unsourced airdate of April 3, 2004 that was on this wiki for years.
