About Me
I'm Tyler Smith. Starting a channel for both gaming, and another one for reviews on My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic after my blog on Mario and MLP together since July 2015. This page is, for now, a W.I.P. This is dedicated solely to some of my love for Spongebob whilst at other times, I could care less about him for certain reasons.

Episodes I Like
All episodes listed below are those I have some major respect for; they do have some flaws, but for the most part, they win me over for having the same magical charm everyone's favorite anthropomorphic sea sponge had to begin with.
Season 1
-
Ripped Pants (SpongeBob's running gag here is clever and charming)
-
Naughty Nautical Neighbors (The charming way destroying a friendship can be done; before fixing it eventually)
-
Boating School (Clever introduction to Mrs. Puff and SpongeBob's hilarious attempts at getting his license)
-
Hall Monitor (SpongeBob as a "maniac" is pretty funny)
-
Opposite Day (Opposition: "There's no reason for me to like this trash.")
-
MuscleBob BuffPants (The original funny, clever, and creative way to give SpongeBob fake muscles before Larry's Gym)
-
Squidward the Unfriendly Ghost (Squidward tormenting his own annoying can sometimes be satisfying)
-
I Was a Teenage Gary (This episode gets way too much hate)
-
The Paper (Now if only small pieces of paper could actually make great toys)
-
Arrgh! (What a nice treasure hunt SpongeBob, Patrick, and Mr. Krabs went on)
Season 2
-
Big Pink Loser ("NO, THIS IS PATRICK!")
-
Wormy (If only Wormy's close ups were a real butterfly and not a horsefly)
-
Patty Hype (Colorful humor, visuals, and storytelling)
-
Prehibernation Week (Sandy's extreme activities sure are ridiculously enjoyable)
-
Sailor Mouth (The story could've been focused on just as much as the humor; still a good episode nonetheless)
-
Jellyfish Hunter (Mr. Krabs getting his comeuppance is so satisfying)
-
The Smoking Peanut (Gripping plot with a clever, if overshadowing plot twist)
Season 3
-
My Pretty Seahorse (Clever chemistry between SpongeBob and Mystery)
-
The Bully (Not as bad as one might consider for SpongeBob's original days)
-
Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy IV (SpongeBob is weird here, but it's pretty funny)
-
One Krabs Trash (Mr. Krabs' characterization can be pretty funny here)
-
As Seen on TV (SpongeBob trying to be all cool for fame? Pretty funny and clever if you ask me)
-
Krab Borg (An underrated gem of the pre-movie era)
-
Rock-a-Bye Bivalve (Adorable; even if it is weird to see Patrick and SpongeBob act as parents)
-
I Had an Accident (Lots of good humor to be had)
Season 4
-
Krabs vs. Plankton (Great trail to see a heavy rivalry against two enemies)
-
Skill Crane (Guess I'll take a lesson or two from SpongeBob here)
-
Selling Out (One of Mr. Krabs' best roles in the second half)
-
Patrick SmartPants (Enjoyably awkward what with Patrick's sudden intelligence)
-
SquidBob TentaclePants (This episode gets way too much hate)
-
Karate Island (Awkwardly ridiculous, epic, and enjoyable)
-
Squidtastic Voyage (So much fun to go deep inside a character's body)
-
Best Frenemies (Nice to see rivals like Mr. Krabs and Plankton team up for once)
-
The Gift of Gum (What's the big deal with this one's flak?)
Episodes I'm Okay With
All episodes listed below are those I can - at times - approve of; they don't fascinate me like those episodes I like and love since some plots are cliched, complicated, or at times dull, but I come to accept them in the end based on how they didn't screw themselves over too hard.
Season 1
-
Jellyfish Jam (Maybe if the jellyfish were a little more considerate of SpongeBob's decision)
-
Squeaky Boots (Maybe if SpongeBob's squeaky antics with his new boots were less annoying)
-
Nature Pants (I can come to accept SpongeBob learning that nature's no place for him; at least when compared to The Sponge Who Could Fly)
-
Culture Shock (Maybe if the crowd had a less awkward taste in specific theater elements)
-
The Chaperone (I don't see what's the big deal with this even if it isn't as interesting as most of the rest of Season 1)
-
Scaredy Pants (Holiday episodes just aren't my thing anymore to be honest)
-
Valentine's Day (Holiday episodes once again don't earn my attention that much)
-
Walking Small (Meh, assertiveness training doesn't exactly suit my taste for rewatchable episodes)
-
Neptune's Spatula (This could've been more interesting, but Neptune does add some good humor to be fair)
-
Hooky (Maybe if Patrick was less discouraging to Mr. Krabs' warning given to SpongeBob)
Season 2
-
Bossy Boots (Maybe if Pearl was a little less bossy about the service)
-
Bubble Buddy (A new "buddy" SpongeBob finds just to go around and cause pure rage? Less tolerable, but still mediocre)
-
Dying for Pie (Maybe if Squidward was cut slightly more slack)
-
Life of Crime (Maybe if Patrick was more aware of when he eats his treats)
-
Christmas Who? (For the third time, my interest in holiday-themed episodes officially died down nowadays)
-
I'm Your Biggest Fanatic (Maybe if Kevin accepted SpongeBob as a jellyfish hunter sooner)
-
Gary Takes a Bath (Maybe if Gary didn't get SpongeBob dirty and just shut him up about a bath)
-
Welcome to the Chum Bucket (Maybe if SpongeBob wasn't immature towards the end)
-
The Secret Box (Maybe if it would've made more out of its small setting; like what Graveyard Shift did)
-
Artist Unknown (Maybe if Squidward didn't take much of SpongeBob's talented art for granted)
Season 3
-
SpongeGuard on Duty (Maybe if SpongeBob were less weird, and Larry was involved more with him)
-
Club SpongeBob (Maybe if Squidward wasn't humiliated this much)
-
Doing Time (Maybe if the guards were more aware of SpongeBob without acting so blind in said scenario)
-
Can You Spare a Dime? (I can relate to Squidward here, but Mr. Krabs' stupidity here kinda kills my interest in it)
-
Squilliam Returns (Maybe if Squidward would've swiped victory at the end)
-
Clams (If only Mr. Krabs didn't go so far as to turn his employees into clam bait)
-
Born Again Krabs (If only Mr. Krabs was less greedily selfish when this started)
Season 6
-
House Fancy (I can look past the toenail scene; otherwise, with a half decent, if illogical ending, this one's forgettable at most)
-
The Krabby Kronicle (Nothing like My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic's Ponyville Confidential in comparison)
-
Toy Store of Doom (Maybe if SpongeBob and Patrick's phobias were less awkward)
Episodes I Dislike
All episodes listed below are those I'd like to forget; they do have a few redeeming values (like how they end themselves off for example), but their flaws prevent them from winning any of my interests over. Sometimes it may have to do with bizarre implications, boring plots, or illogically stupid characterization, but for the most part, these episodes just don't succeed fairly enough.
Season 1
-
Fools in April (Based on Squidward's painful prank on SpongeBob, I'm confused as to who I'm supposed to root for more)
Season 2
-
Squirrel Jokes (Why is it Bikini Bottomites always have to be so cruel?)
Season 3
-
Party Pooper Pants (SpongeBob was supposed to be a party host? Party pooper indeed!)
-
New Student Starfish (Patrick knows better than to get his own best friend into trouble)
-
The Great Snail Race (Pets don't need every bit of pressure you give them, SpongeBob)
-
Krabby Land (Mr. Krabs at his most cold-hearted; at least before SpongeBob's modern era)
-
The Sponge Who Could Fly (I'd rather put up with Nature Pants than this when it comes to SpongeBob wanting to join the jellyfish)
Season 4
-
The Thing (Torturous for Squidward; backed up by an awkward ending)
-
New Leaf (I find this one rather pointless based on Plankton's sluggish scheme)
-
Once Bitten (Highly illogical)
-
Wigstruck (SpongeBob's new wig is bizarre and uncharming)
Season 5
-
Rise and Shine (Nothing mean-spirited, but Patrick's morning routine looks really boring to be honest)
Season 6
-
No Nose Knows (Patrick doesn't deserve a real nose at all if he's gonna go too far with killing necessary odors)
Season 7
-
That Sinking Feeling (Still annoying even how SpongeBob and Patrick weren't seen around Squidward to annoy him)
Episodes I Hate
All episodes listed below are those I want to throw into a fire pit; there's literally no redeeming quality about these episodes (even if some have one small tolerable moment than others), and rather than trying to fix them up, it's best if we just went back in time and prevent these atrocities from ever happening.
Season 2
-
Grandma's Kisses (Patrick double crosses SpongeBob, Squidward and the Bikini Bottomites are jerks, and the ending was just terrible)
-
Dumped (Patrick's behavior towards SpongeBob was just disgusting; and don't even get me started on that ludicrous plot twist at the end!)
-
I'm with Stupid (I thought Patrick was supposed to stick up for his best friend, not maliciously torment him)
Season 4
-
Good Neighbors (SpongeBob and Patrick at their most intolerable at being Squidward's neighbors)
-
Funny Pants (SpongeBob's stupid jokes and his laugh get unfunny and annoying SUPER fast!)
-
All That Glitters (Pointless and torturous for SpongeBob)
-
Rule of Dumb (Patrick's stupidity sure wasn't charming here)
-
Squid Wood (Must I explain?)
Season 5
-
Boat Smarts (SpongeBob was as stupid as his own best friend here; and not in a good way whatsoever!)Boat Smarts (SpongeBob was as stupid as his own best friend here; and not in a good way whatsoever!)
-
To Love a Patty (SpongeBob's romance with "Patty" makes zero sense)
-
Breath of Fresh Squidward (Who am really supposed to root for when it comes down to it?)
-
Atlantis SquarePantis (David Bowie's talent was completely wasted, the songs are unnecessary and stupid, and the plot is one big snoozefest)
-
Picture Day (No comment)
-
What Ever Happened to SpongeBob? (I'd like to forget this ever happened just as much as anyone else would want to)
Season 6
-
The Splinter (Most revolting episode; everything about it makes me sick!)
-
Plankton's Regular (Karen and Mr. Krabs were completely loathsome for torturing poor Plankton)
-
Boating Buddies (SpongeBob's chemistry with Squidward here makes me furious)
-
Choir Boys (Offensive to those who have big dreams)
-
Dear Vikings (Annoying stereotypes with the vikings)
-
Cephalopod Lodge (Why is newer writers just love to torture Squidward to death?!)
-
Squid's Visit (This kind of plot is best suited for a horror film than a children's cartoon)
-
Professor Squidward (SpongeBob and Patrick really irritated me here)
-
Pet or Pests (I think I'm gonna be sick)
-
Truth or Square (Patchy and SpongeBob's segments are dull and mishandled)
-
Pineapple Fever (Boring and irritating)
Season 7
-
Tentacle-Vision (Another one of Squidward's chances at actual victory, and everyone in Bikini Bottom carelessly messes it up in front of him?!?!)
-
Stuck in the Wringer (This is why the crew should really do more Q&A testing with Patrick's true character)
-
Someone's in the Kitchen with Sandy (Everyone but Sandy, Plankton, SpongeBob, and Mr. Krabs were terrible and unlikable here)
-
Keep Bikini Bottom Beautiful (No writer can ever seem to cut Squidward a decent amount of slack, can they?!)
-
A Pal for Gary (I swear I just want to beat SpongeBob and Puffy Fluffy to a bloody pulp!)
-
Summer Job (Mrs. Puff torture)
-
One Coarse Meal (Worst episode of the series; everything about this catastrophe is atrocious!)
Season 8
-
Squidward's School for Grown-Ups (Naughty Nautical Neighbors done wrong; especially with Squidward's characterization)
-
Pet Sitter Pat (A very horrendous depiction of animal cruelty)
-
Smoothe Jazz at Bikini Bottom (This defines why Patrick can often be an unsympathetic moron)
-
Bubble Buddy Returns (I thought Bubble Buddy was already intolerable at once, but his son?!)
-
Are You Happy Now? (One disturbing suicide joke too many)
-
Face Freeze! (Gag me!)
-
Demolition Doofus (A pointless plot depicting a homicidal maniac teacher, and an utterly stupid student; I'm not rooting for either one)
Season 9
-
Little Yellow Book (Squidward at his most unlikable)
-
SpongeBob, You're Fired! (Controversial, boring, pointless, and downright offensive to those who are unemployed)
Season 10
-
Plankton Retires (One Coarse Meal all over again, if not AS illogical, pointless, or cruel towards Plankton)
-
Sportz? (Another case where Squidward was all too OOC; poor SpongeBob and Patrick)
-
Out of the Picture (A stupid and pointless way to sell Squidward's artwork)
