"A Poem" is a poem Patrick wrote when he was a child. It is seen in a flashback in the episode "Sing a Song of Patrick."
History
After reading the poem to his gym class, Patrick eats it. The gym teacher then tells Patrick how many times he has to tell him that he is in gym class and blows his whistle, which gets Patrick subsequently hit by dodgeballs.
