"Livin' in the Sunlight, Lovin' in the Moonlight "[sic is a song that plays in the pilot episode "Help Wanted " when SpongeBob serves a hungry swarm of anchovies a large amount of Krabby Patties . It briefly plays again at the end of the episode, after SpongeBob fires several Krabby Patties at Patrick that send him flying out of the Krusty Krab .
It was originally written by Al Sherman and Al Lewis for the 1930 film The Big Pond Maurice Chevalier . It was covered by Tiny Tim in 1968 on his first album, God Bless Tiny Tim

The only known international dub to have the song dubbed is the Greek one, despite being a voice-over.
Copyright issues with this song prevented "Help Wanted" from being included on The Complete 1st Season , The 1st Season: Volume 1 , The Complete First Season , The First & Second Seasons , and Movies & TV Collection DVDs. According to Derek Drymon , this is because Nickelodeon did not want to pay Tiny Tim's estate for the rights.[ 1] is included as a bonus feature on disc 3 of The Complete 3rd Season , 10 Happiest Moments , The Complete Third Season , 2-Season TV Pack , and The Third & Fourth Seasons DVDs.
