Ampo is a pet food that only appears in the episode "Spot Returns."
Description
It is a food made for amoebas and comes in a small can with a golden-yellow label and the food, a wet dark yellow substance, in a light blue pet bowl. Above this is the product's name in dark red text.
Role in the episode
When Karen points out to Plankton that provision of food-rich environments causes amoebas to reproduce after the latter examines Spot with an X-ray, the scene shortly pans to a pile of all the food Plankton has been feeding Spot lately, one of which is Ampo.
Trivia
- It is most likely a parody of Alpo.
- This food also follows the same vein as Snail-Po, as both have similar names that parody Alpo and are wet pet food.
