Lightning berries are fruits that appear in the Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years episode "The Switch Glitch."

Description

They are small, glowing yellow berries that are capable of producing electricity.

Role in episode

At the beginning of the episode, Karen is searching for these berries, for Plankton. She finds a bunch of them, but Patrick eats them all. Patrick then puts Karen on his head, and an electric shock from the lightning berries, as well as Karen's computer circuitry, causes them to swap minds.
