Chocolate balloon

Template:OTab Template:Object The chocolate balloon is a balloon made by Template:Data:Links as a Valentine's Day gift for Template:Data:Links in the episode "Valentine's Day" and the games Love Hurts! and SpongeBob's Game Frenzy.

Description

It is a large, light brown heart-shaped balloon. It has a simplistic drawing of Patrick in the middle and a few bandages around the balloon.

Role in episode

The chocolate balloon is Patrick's Valentine's Day gift from Template:Data:Links, who has Sandy arrive at the Valentine's Day Carnival with the balloon to surprise Patrick. However, the plans are ruined when chocolate-eating scallops start to fly at the balloon and attempt to pop it, causing Sandy to delay her arrival; because SpongeBob can't tell Patrick about the balloon because it would ruin the surprise, he lies and tells him he gave him a handshake as his present. This eventually results in Patrick going mad and terrorizing the carnival, believing SpongeBob did not get him a gift.

Sandy finally arrives, and SpongeBob and the other Bikini Bottomites try to make Patrick turn around to see the gift, but he stubbornly refuses. However, after hearing Sandy greet him, Patrick turns around and sees his gift, immediately returning to his happy self, then happily takes a bite out of it. This causes the balloon to burst and release chocolate that explodes all over the carnival.

Patrick does not get enraged at this, for he is delighted that SpongeBob attempted to bring him a gift.
