"Doing the Sponge" is a song featured in the episode "The Chaperone." The Sponge is a dance created by SpongeBob. The song was written by Peter Straus (aka Saltpeter) and was sung by Blag Dahlia. Blag Dahlia is the singer for the San Francisco based punk band "The Dwarves".
