Template:OTab Template:Object Air Plankton is a medium-sized plane that appears in The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.
Description
It is a dark green airplane that has two propellers on each wing, along with Template:Data:Links's antennae on the top, a giant eye that resembles Plankton's eye on the nose, and a small cabin which carries the pilot which is Plankton in this case. It is capable of carrying Plankton's tank robot and dropping a jar of tartar sauce.
Role in movies
The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water
It is the first invention that Plankton uses to try to get the formula at the beginning of the movie. It dropped a jar of tartar sauce on Template:Data:Links and Template:Data:Links and was later destroyed when SpongeBob and Template:Data:Links fire potatoes at it, causing it to crash to the ground. However, Plankton ejected with his tank robot and continued on without the plane. Template:Section-expand
Plankton: The Movie
Air Plankton ppears in the background in the Chum Bucket's basement, as Plankton discusses with SpongeBob how he can stop Karen's rampage in Bikini Bottom.
Trivia
- There is a Mega Bloks SpongeBob SquarePants set depicting this vehicle, called the Tartar Bomber.
- It vaguely resembles the American Boeing B-17 or the German Heinkel He 277.
- Its name is a portmanteau of the word "airplane" and Plankton's name.
