"Flip Flop Fry" is a song sung by Cool SpongeBob in the episode "Mind the Gap". It is a song of random words. When SpongeBob finds out he has a new voice, he decides to sing for the people instead of whistling.

Role in episode

Squidward is sick and tired of SpongeBob's whistling, so he tricks SpongeBob by closing his gap so he can't be annoyed by SpongeBob's constant whistling. But the trick kind of backfired when SpongeBob sings with his new voice. Squidward decides to use SpongeBob as a ticket to a top club at Blow Your Top Lounge. The song plays again during the transition to Blow Your Top Lounge. However, Squidward is shown with no talent, but SpongeBob totally made up for it by singing Flip Flop Fry to the club, only to have his gap return. The song plays again when Squidward says "But we'll be back tomorrow night!" and when Squidward is forced to pay a bill for when SpongeBob blew the top off the previous night.

Lyrics

This song's lyrics are just random words for the entire song.
