Chomp-Bots are robots that appear as an enemy in the console versions of Battle for Bikini Bottom and all versions of Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated. They first appear in Downtown Bikini Bottom as the fifth robot Template:Data:Links, Template:Data:Links and Template:Data:Links encounter in their adventures.
Description
Chomp-Bots are very small, dog-like robots with two legs, a square body, and razor-sharp teeth. They contain poisonous gas in their bodies. The original game gives them a single green eye shaped like a hexagon.
In the remake, their eyes are now circular and turns red once they spot SpongeBob, Patrick and/or Sandy. In addition, they also now have an antenna and their legs also now have metal toes.

Role in game
Chomp-Bots are somewhat common enemies. They appear in Downtown Bikini Bottom, Goo Lagoon, the Mermalair, Sand Mountain, and SpongeBob's Dream.
Their main method of attack is to chase the player and try to bite them. However, they can sometimes breathe toxic gas on the player as well. Like most of the robots in the game, Chomp-Bots can be defeated in one hit, dropping ten Shiny Objects each. They tend to appear in small groups.
