If you were looking for the article about the analyzer created by Template:Data:Links, then see Molecular Analyzer.

The analyzer is a sentient goo analyzer created by Template:Data:Links in the episode "It Came from Goo Lagoon."

Description

The analyzer is a box-shaped sentient machine with a red, yellow, and blue button on the front of it as well as two lightbulbs on top of it. The purpose of the analyzer is to conduct whether current substances (such as goo) are safe or not by putting in the mouth-like hole.

Role in episode

As one of the tests Sandy conducts on the Giant Super Goo bubble, she tells Template:Data:Links and Template:Data:Links to put some of the goo in a bucket. She then tells SpongeBob to put said goo into the analyzer to see how dangerous it is. The analyzer then becomes sentient, as it starts to chew on the goo, before spitting it out and somewhat malfunctioning (breaking one of it's lightbulbs in the process). The analyzer then has a receipt come out of the mouth of it, which Sandy takes and sees that the goo is worse than she thought.
