Donut
A Donut is a type of food in Bikini Bottom, known to be sold by Flipper's Donuts and Donuts. It first appears in "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy" and plays its biggest role yet in "The Donut of Shame."
Description
The donut in "The Donut of Shame" looks like a regular donut with chocolate and pink sprinkles. In the episode "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy," there are three donuts: a strawberry-flavored donut, a glazed donut, and a chocolate-flavored donut.
Role in series
In "The Donut of Shame," Patrick was trying to find a way to hide the donut he took from SpongeBob and was also struggling not to eat it but then he heard the phone ringing and it was SpongeBob. He was going to his house to play the tape from a party that happened the day before. He was really nervous and then SpongeBob appeared. Patrick hid the donut behind him then SpongeBob played the tape only for Patrick to learn that the donut was his all along since it was his birthday. Patrick shared his donut with SpongeBob.
In the episode "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy," SpongeBob and Patrick pretended that it was a ring that Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy used while annoying Squidward in the process.
In the episode "Rock-a-Bye Bivalve," once Junior starts crying all of a sudden, SpongeBob and Patrick offer him various foods in attempt to calm him down, one of which Patrick offers is a chocolate donut. He offers it to him twice during the process and Junior blows a raspberry at Patrick the second time.
In the episode "Patrick-Man!," Patrick was shown next to a Donut store but was eating one from a dumpster.
