Chili

Template:OTab Template:Object Chili is a food that appears in the episodes "Doing Time," "Pest of the West," "Squirrel Record," and the Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years episode "Help Not Wanted." Jail guards serve it as a dish at the Bikini Bottom Jail.

Description

Chili is a spicy stew containing chili peppers, meat (usually beef), and often tomatoes and beans. In the show, the color of it is a dark reddish-brown.

Role in series

"Doing Time"

During the dream sequence, Mrs. Puff serves chili to the prisoners in the Bikini Bottom Jail cafeteria. Template:Data:Links and Template:Data:Links sneak into the chili bowl to free her, but Mrs. Puff refuses because she enjoys her time in prison.

"Pest of the West"

SpongeBuck SquarePants applies for the fry cook position at the Krusty Kantina, due to the quality of his homemade chili. Pappy Krabs tries it and spits it out, criticizing its taste.

"Squirrel Record"

When Template:Data:Links is attempting to set various world records, she pours an entire pot of hot chili into her mouth to set a record for the spiciest chili gargle. After finishing the chili, she breathes fire onto SpongeBob.

"Help Not Wanted"

When Cecil arrives at Kamp Koral, he makes a special chili recipe and feeds it to the campers, since they don't like Plankton's chum. The campers take turns eating the chili, which causes them to burp and fart loudly.

Trivia

• The only reason Patrick came along with SpongeBob to free Mrs. Puff from prison is that he likes chili.
