"Dear Friend" is an opera song written by Aaron Springer, sung by SpongeBob to persuade Patrick to become his friend again. It was heard in the episode, "Squidward's School for Grown-Ups."

This song is one of the few opera songs sung in the series.
This is third time SpongeBob's singing voice is completely different (voiced by Teresa Parente). The first time was in "Ripped Pants" (Voiced by Peter Strauss ) and the second time was in "Band Geeks" (Voiced by David Glen Eisley ).
