Lonely Heart's Club
Appearance
"Lonely Heart's Club" was composed by David Bell and Otto Sieben. The main instruments being played in the piece include a clarinet, a bassoon, a piano, a trombone, trumpets, a shaker, a viola, a vibraphone, a flute, and a tambourine. It usually plays when someone gets mad or upset. There are two versions used in the main series and its spinoffs.

This is a remastered version of the original track released in 2021 by Sonoton Vinyl. This version only lists David Bell as the sole composer.

Trivia
- On the vinyl album, "Comic Cuts, Vol. 1: Comedy - Children - Cartoon," where the track was originally recorded in 1974, it is played in its normal pitch. When released on CD in 1991, the track was sped up 3%. The episodes where it is heard in the correct pitch are "Banned in Bikini Bottom" and "Karen for Spot," the latter using a remastered version of the track in its normal pitch.
- "The Sponge Who Could Fly" and "Friend or Foe" are the only special episodes where this track plays.
- Between "Single Cell Anniversary" and "Married to Money," this track took seven years to return.
- Seasons 7, 8, 10, 14 and 15 are currently the only seasons where this track does not play since its introduction.
