Characters

Synopsis

One morning, the campers are eating disgusting food from the canteen. The camp counselors, however, have a fancy meal prepared by Plankton. Once they taste it, they are stricken with food poisoning and sent to the nurse's office. In his delirious state, Mr. Krabs appoints Squidward the new camp master. The other campers do not take Squidward seriously and throw a party, sending the camp into chaos. They beg for Squidward to lead them. He begins restoring the camp and making it better, guiding the campers along the way. At the end of the day, everyone is impressed and has a newfound appreciation for Squidward.

Squidward becomes the camp master.

However, the next day, Squidward renames the camp to "Camp Squidward" and begins taking advantage of everyone, making them build statues and decorations in his image. Squidward enjoys luxuries that he refuses to provide to other campers. When he begins moving furniture out of Krabs' office to make it his own, the campers are convinced that he has gone too far.

At the canteen, Squidward serves everyone a disgusting meal and claims that the better food is reserved for those who are loyal to him. He sics Bubble Bass, Larry, and Chovy, who are acting as guard dogs, on SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy. The campers conspire under SpongeBob's cabin and Sandy suggests a revolution.

Patrick disrespects Camp Squidward's flag.

The next morning, Patrick catches Squidward's attention by holding a flag. Rather than raising it, he stomps it into the ground and rubs it between his legs. Other campers vandalize Squidward's art pieces, enraging him. Suddenly, Squidward hears his clarinet being played. He follows the sound and eventually falls into a booby trap. When the campers laugh at him, Squidward nervously admits that he has gone too far.

Sandy has Squidward tied up and loaded into a catapult. Mr. Krabs shows up and orders that Squidward be let go, since similar disasters happen every time a camper is put in charge. Rather, Krabs directs his anger at Plankton, who gave them food poisoning in the first place. Plankton gets launched out of a catapult as everyone cheers.
