Not to be confused with Rip Tide.

"Ripped Hide" is a Hawaiian track composed by Nicolas Carr, Sage Guyton, and Jeremy Wakefield. The instruments being played in the piece are a steel guitar, a ukulele, and a bass. It is mostly used as title card music. It shares almost the same melody as "Rip Tide," but faster.

  • Since its introduction, season 14 is the only season to not use this track.
    • If not for the split between seasons 14 and 15, this track would have played in every season since its introduction.
  • In season 8, this track was used only for title cards.
    • "Evil Spatula" is the first episode to use this track outside of a title card, albeit sped up slightly.
      • "Feral Friends" is the first episode to play this track completely at normal speed, outside a title card.
  • "Oral Report" and "Gary's New Toy" are the only episodes which use this track as title card music and Rip Tide for the ending.
    • Somewhat bookending those episodes, since the tracks sound almost alike.

  • This track was heard at the 2015 Comic Con.
  • "Ma and Pa's Big Hurrah" and "Yellow Pavement" are the only sister episodes to use this track.
