The Rusty Krab^[1] was a retirement home in Bikini Bottom, which was later acquired by Mr. Krabs and converted into the Krusty Krab. It appears in the episode "Krusty Krab Training Video" during a flashback.

About

Description

The Rusty Krab looks no different than the Krusty Krab, besides the fact it has no "K" in the sign and later on it was painted there by Mr. Krabs. There is also a green shuffleboard area nearby the retirement home.

History

When the Rusty Krab went bankrupt, Mr. Krabs bought the building. This purchase was made before 1988.^[2]
