SpongeBob's Greatest Hits is a compilation album originally released on February 24, 2009 and re-released on July 14, 2009. It coincided with the 10th anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants. It consists of previously released tracks with a few newer ones.

- Of all the songs, three songs previously appeared on Original Theme Highlights, six songs appeared previously on The Yellow Album, three songs appeared previously on The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie soundtrack, three songs appeared previously on The Best Day Ever, and eight songs - "Idiot Friends," "I Can't Keep My Eyes Off of You," "The Bubble Song," "This Grill is Not a Home," Cee-Lo's hip-hop version of the SpongeBob SquarePants theme song, P!nk's "We've Got Scurvy," "Don't Be a Jerk (It's Christmas)," and "A Day Like This" - make their debut.
- This album was released on the main series' 10th birthday.
- The original version contains "This Grill is Not a Home" and "I Can't Keep My Eyes Off of You." The re-release removes these songs.
- The song "Don't Be a Jerk (It's Christmas)" is used later on in the season 8 special "It's a SpongeBob Christmas!"
Errors
- The booklet in the case says the word "idiot" is said 17 times in the Idiot Friends song, when it is really said 16 times.
