Characters

Synopsis

The comic begins with a weather report by Perch Perkins, who detects extreme weather. Reporter Minerva Minnow advises people to stay inside as a tornado flies past Conch Street. The tornado picks up Patrick Star's house and throws him outside.

The next day, SpongeBob is heading out for work when Patrick knocks on his door and asks to sleep in SpongeBob's house. SpongeBob hesitantly agrees, and heads outside to see that Patrick's house really has blown away. At work, he is unable to perform well because he is so worried for Patrick, and decides to be a good host for him. He brings him home Krabby Patties and Krusty Krab pizzas, which Patrick devours, along with everything in SpongeBob's fridge. Although SpongeBob wants to watch TV with him, Patrick goes to bed. After watching five movies, an exhausted SpongeBob goes to bed, only to see Patrick sleeping in his bed. He sleeps in the laundry basket instead, and Patrick wakes him up because he had a nightmare. SpongeBob comforts him, but is left unable to sleep because of Patrick repeatedly interrupting him throughout the night.

Next morning, SpongeBob is extremely tired, and tells Sandy about his predicament. He realizes he needs to be firm with Patrick, but when he goes home, he immediately agrees to buy the stuff Patrick spilled. Sleeping in the laundry basket again that night, he decides to help Patrick find a new house in the morning. They visit all the used rock stores in town, but Patrick does not like any of them. They try to get a custom-built rock, but Patrick is unable to pay. As they debate what to do, a volcano above the ocean rumbles and erupts. One of the rocks it spits out lands on Patrick, horrifying SpongeBob. Patrick reveals he likes the volcano rock and is going to move under it.
