Plankton's Plunge
Plankton's Plunge is a SpongeBob SquarePants amusement ride. It is a mini drop tower themed around Plankton. The ride debuted at Kings Island (formerly owned by Paramount), in Ohio on April 14, 2006. The ride closed in 2009 after Paramount's amusement park license expired, and was replaced by Kite Eating Tree. Another version of the ride opened in the Nickelodeon Land section at The Land of Legends in Turkey in March 2025.
Description
Kings Island: Children of all ages will delight in this mini-drop ride that takes guests more than 20 feet in the air and plunges them gently up and down. A Plankton sculpture graces the top of this attraction, bringing another element of Bikini Bottom to life.[1]
The Land of Legends: Anything can happen in Plankton's world. Get a rush of adrenaline when you take Plankton's Plunge. Remember, with Plankton you could be on top of the world or suddenly at the bottom.[2]
