The Flying Dutchman's Revenge was a SpongeBob SquarePants ride. It opened at Carowinds, owned by Paramount at the time, on March 19, 2005 as part of the Nickelodeon Central area. The ride features rotating mini pirate ships, with a statue of the Flying Dutchman and cutouts of other SpongeBob characters in the middle. The ride was closed in 2009 after Paramount's license to the amusement park expired, and was replaced by Peanuts Pirates with the Camp Snoopy rebrand.

Description

Guests can navigate rotating minipirate ships and help Patrick Star escape the evil pirate specter. Pivot, twist and turn a full 180 degrees while sloping up and down along the Bikini Bottom terrain.[1]
